The Luangdimei Citizens Forum proudly announces the establishment of a Lifetime Achievement Award, “Luangdimai Hetua”, to be presented during the Makuiluangdi Festival under the theme “Malanwangbo, Return of the Native”.

What is Luangdimai Hetua?

“Luangdimai Hetua” Luangdimai Award. This Luangdimai Award aims to honour individuals who have made exceptional contributions to our society, culture, and community throughout their lives, invariably leaving an enduring legacy that inspires future generations.

Objective-

The aim of the “Luangdimei Hetua” is to recognise and honour the exceptional achievements of outstanding individuals whose lives exemplify dedication, innovation, and excellence in their respective fields. This award will act as a guiding light of inspiration for all members of the Luangdimai community, highlighting the significance of commitment and contribution to society.

Award Category:

  1. Luangdimai Chagi Hetua:

Recognised as the highest or most unique legendary figure — one awardee at a time (posthumous and living). This honours long-term contributions to the community, highlighting innovation, leadership, and the capacity to inspire others.

  1. Luangdimai Ke Hetua:

Recognised for excellence in discipline and profession — 2 Awardee at a time (Living). Acknowledgement of long-term contributions to their field.

  1. Luangdimai Tiangdi Hetua:

Exceptional Contribution to Luangdimai Society-2 Awardee at a time (Living). Honour those who have actively contributed to the betterment of the Luangdimai society through advocacy, philanthropic work, and efforts to preserve cultural practices and traditions.

Nomination Process-

1. No self-nomination allowed

2. Those who will nominate any fellow Luangdimai shall gather the information of the nominee and submit at the link provided below.

3. Details of the Award, Concept Note, the applicable category, etc shall be read and understood before proceeding to fill the form provided in the link available below.

4. The nominator must gather detailed information about the nominee, including a comprehensive CV, letters of support, and any supplementary evidence of the nominee’s awards and qualifications.

5. All nominations must be received by the designated deadline of 30 October 2025 to be considered for the award.

6. Notification: Nominees will be informed of the outcome of their submissions by the second week of November.

7. Award recipients’ names to be announced publicly during the Makuiluangdi Festival.

Additional Information-

1. By submitting a nomination, the nominator grants LCF permission to use the nominee’s name, likeness, and achievements in promotional materials related to the award.

2. All submitted materials become the property of LCF and may be used for promotional purposes.

3. Any nomination that fails to comply with the terms and conditions outlined herein will be disqualified.

 4. LCF reserves the right to disqualify any nominee whose conduct is found to breach the award’s integrity standards.

5. LCF reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time prior to the nomination deadline.
