Like any other ethnic community across the globe, many Luangdimai have also moved out from their ancestral homes either to pursue higher studies or seeking career in different profession. During the past one decade, the migration to Indian metro cities and abroad has risen sharply. This sizeable population termed as “Luangdimai diaspora” has many contributions to our society but at the same time they have their own challenges, so also promises.
